Privacy Policy

AstroAsk is architected with privacy-by-design principles. We explicitly do NOT collect:

• ✗Your name, date of birth, or time of birth
• ✗Your city or geographic location
• ✗Your email address or phone number
• ✗Any financial or payment information
• ✗Biometric or health data
• ✗Device identifiers or unique hardware IDs
• ✗Any information that could personally identify you

When you enter your birth details and click "Generate My Kundali", those details are used exclusively to calculate your astrological chart using Swiss Ephemeris algorithms running in your browser session.

The calculations happen on our server in a stateless manner — each request is independent, carries no session token, and leaves no trace in any database. Once your results are rendered, the input data is discarded from server memory.

Your browser may cache page resources (JavaScript, CSS, fonts) for performance, but this cache contains no personal information — only static assets.

We use minimal, essential cookies only:

• •Theme preference — stores your dark/light mode preference in localStorage. Contains no personal information.
• •Language preference — stores your selected report language. Contains no personal information.
• •Chart History — if you choose to save a chart for "Quick Fill," the name and birth date are stored strictly on your device (browser localStorage). This data is never sent to our servers and can be cleared by you at any time.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookie that could identify you across websites.

AstroAsk uses the following third-party services:

  Google Fonts — Fonts (Playfair Display, Inter, DM Mono) are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address as part of standard CDN operation. See Google's Privacy Policy.

  Swiss Ephemeris — All astrological calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris library. No data is shared with Astrodienst (the Swiss Ephemeris maintainer); we use the library locally.

AstroAsk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of AstroAsk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
